Terms & Conditions

1. Recharge of EGPAY Account

By accepting EGPAY terms and conditions you clearly declare that you have the full capacity to get into agreement & perform monetary transactions. You also, indicate that you do not require any legal guardian to sign such agreements and had fully understood the terms & conditions, in the meantime, you declare that the fund used to recharge your EGPAY account & process EGPAY services was obtained from legal channels and not subject to any dispute whatsoever. Any violations to the law and EGPAY terms & conditions will be the sole responsibility of the user and he/she agree to bear all consequences.

2. Update of Privacy Policy

We may amend / update this privacy policy, we will communicate these updates or amendments to you in any appropriate way and change the “Last Update” date on this privacy policy. By continuation of using to our services, you confirm that you accepted the updates & amendments. Should you have any objections to our updated privacy policy, you must stop using our services and review our policy frequently.

3. Amendment, suspension or termination of services

EGPAY has the sole right to change, terminate or add new services to its mobile application, where prior notice to you is not required. In case of any suspect acts, abuse, violation of terms & conditions, and fraud, the decision of freezing your account will be made only by EGPAY and should be final and binding to all parties. Also, EGPAY has the full right to cease the provision of its services temporarily or permanently as part of continuous improvement and market needs without any obligation towards users of its services. In addition, you also have the right to stop using the services without a need to inform EGPAY in advance

You agree and accept that we shall have the right to terminate your account without indicating reasons.

4. Terms of Payment

You hereby agree that EGPAY shall be entitled to collect the fees made through EGPAY mobile application. In addition, you agree and acknowledge that EGPAY shall be entitled to a commission rate, deducted from the rows value and amount paid and agree & understand that these terms of payment shall be applicable

You hereby agree on any extra charges that are stated clearly and nominated inside EGPAY mobile application and is applied on services inside the application and processing any payment with extra charge will be considered as an approval from your side to pay this charges with no legal right to complain from these charges afterword.

5. Laws

You expressly understand and agree that your use of EGPAY mobile application is at your sole risk and that the services are provided "as is" and “as available.”

No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from EGPAY or through or from the services shall create any warranty not expressly stated in the terms.

The limitations on EGPAY’s liability to you above shall apply whether or not EGPAY has been advised of or should have been aware of the possibility of any such losses arising.

You are not allowed to use user names or email addresses that are considered offensive, unlawful or violating public moral or general acceptance. The user name and email addresses you supply need to reflect your identity and even if you decided to use an alias or an alias email such should not be offensive, unlawful, violating public moral or general acceptance or lead other people to believe that you are a person of special stature of influence such as entertainment and sports celebrities, public figures, heads of states or clergy members. The usernames and email addresses that are considered in the forgoing categories include without limitation names and addresses that incite hate, indicate derogatory opinion or depiction of certain people, depicting people as criminals, encourage the ill treatment or causing harm to people.

6. Jurisdiction

The present Terms shall be subject to the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the interpretation or the execution of these terms shall be finally resolved by Cairo Courts

You may receive a printed copy duly executed of the present terms from the Company’s premises by coming physically to our headquarters indicated above during business hours on business days pursuant to the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt with a valid identification document indicating that you are of legal age to act pursuant to the laws of your country and containing your legal address, you shall sign a copy of the terms and shall receive an executed copy at the earliest possible time.

By using EGPAY and providing your information, you agree to the collection and use of the information you disclose on EGPAY in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including but not limited to your consent for sharing your information as per this privacy policy.

By using EGPAY software or any application related to the company you are committed to adhere to the local legal law and the standard of code of ethics.

Refund Policy

As per Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018

EGPAY for Payments and Financial Technology is committed to protecting customer rights through a clear refund policy tailored to the nature of our services, which include payments for electricity, water, and gas bills, university tuition fees, and other government-related services.

Scope of Policy

This policy applies to all transactions made through the EGPAY platform and mobile application, including:

  • Mobile and landline bill payments
  • Telecom balance recharges
  • Utility bill payments (electricity, water, gas, etc.)
  • University and educational fees
  • Government and public service payments
  • Gaming voucher purchases
  • And over 1,200 other digital services

Eligible Refund Cases

You may request a refund in the following cases:

  • If the amount was deducted and the service was not delivered or not confirmed by the service provider within a reasonable time.
  • If a duplicate payment was made for the same service with the same details.

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds are not available if:

  • Incorrect data was entered by the user and the service was delivered based on that data.
  • Refunds are not applicable to successfully completed transactions that were confirmed by the service provider or main supplier.
  • Services requiring immediate execution or approval are non-refundable once fulfilled.

Refund Request Period

You have the right to submit a refund request within 14 days from the transaction date, in accordance with Article 17 of the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law.

Your request should include:

  • Transaction number and date
  • Type of service
  • A copy of the receipt or payment confirmation
  • A brief explanation of the reason for the refund request

Processing Time

  • Requests will be reviewed within 7 business days.
  • If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7-14 business days.
